Winter Weddings - I love them!

From a photography point of view, winter wedding bring their challenges. When you are looking to book your photographer you need to make sure that they can take beautiful photos indoors as well as out. This requires special equipment and some knowledge on how to make it all work!

Katie and Frankie chose the stunning Slaley Hall for their vow renewal last month and I'm not surprised as this hotel is beautiful inside as well as out and as it was going to be dark by the time they finished their vows this was very important.

Katie had two dresses to choose from and we all urged her to wear the magnificent sequinned gown and she literally shimmered down the aisle to her husband who was literally speechless! Katie had chosen a white and pink colour scheme that was so pretty and there was not a detail overlooked. The flowers, favours and cup cakes were great and I had a field day photographing it all for their album. Speaking of albums, Katie and Frankie had their first wedding album from 17 years ago and I was interested to see how we've come on in terms of wedding photography (and fashion!) in 17 years.

So here are a few of my favourites from the day.
