Gateshead Old Town Hall Wedding Photography Newcastle - Hazel and Tom

It was the end of August 2014 when Hazel and Tom plus two sets of parents descended on our little wedding photography studio in Newcastle to talk to us about their wedding photography. Once I pulled together enough seats and boiled the kettle a couple of times for teas and coffees, we started to listen to their plans and if we could become their wedding photographer.

Roll forward eight months to the end of March 2015 and we arrived at Ali B's Hair Studio in Newburn, Newcastle, to start photographing their wedding day. Hazel had several rooms booked at the Keelmans's Lodge in Newburn for her family and bridesmaids and that is where we went on to meet her mum, Jeanette, who had all of Hazel's details ready for us to photograph.

The wind had really picked up by the time we got to St Michael and All Angels church in Newburn where Tom's dad, John, was to conduct the wedding ceremony. Tom was waiting with his two best men, his brothers, and showed no signs of nerves at all.

After a few photos at the church, they were whisked away to Gateshead Old Town Hall in a friend's vintage Triumph, The front of the hall makes a brilliant backdrop, even with gusts of wind threatening to blow Hazel's veil away! The superb main hall is huge and colourful and suited Hazel and Tom's decor perfectly.
